At the Doctoral School, the handling of appeals and complaints is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations of the University of Debrecen and the applicable national legislation, following the principles of fairness, transparency, and objectivity.
Students, supervisors, and other stakeholders have the right to submit a complaint or lodge an appeal against any decision or action they believe violates their rights, interests, or the rules related to the doctoral training.
Complaints or appeals must be submitted in writing, including a justification and any relevant supporting documents, in the following order:

First instance: to the Head of the Doctoral School (nabradi.andras@econ.unideb.hu);

Second instance: to the Social Sciences Doctoral Council (SSDC);

Third instance: if the decision remains disputed, the case may be referred to the University Doctoral and Habilitation Council (UDHC).
The aim of the complaint management process is to ensure that every case is handled impartially, within the prescribed deadlines, and with full respect for the rights of the individuals involved. The Doctoral School provides written notification to the complainant about the outcome of the investigation and any actions taken.
