The mission of the Doctoral School is to train internationally competitive professionals capable of independent research in the field of management and organizational sciences, who contribute to socio-economic development with their scientific and innovative activities, and to create a bridge between scientific research and management practice with the newly established DBA program.

Its vision is to become a defining scientific workshop that strengthens the international position of the University of Debrecen through talent management, international research collaborations and high-quality publication performance.

In order to achieve this vision, the Doctoral School has the following key goals:

• Involving corporate partners, through the examination of problems arising in practice with a scientific approach;
• Stabilizing the number of students, by prioritizing qualitative aspects instead of quantitative expansion;
• In the case of the DBA program, establishing a stable number of students (approximately 45-50) in the full, three-year structure;
• automating and making administrative processes transparent, which enables the development of paperless, environmentally conscious administration, and also extends to the management of student applications through the NEPTUN system;
• actively involving foreign lecturers and visiting professors in training, in order to strengthen the international flow of knowledge;
• supporting the international experience of students and lecturers through conferences, research collaborations and joint applications.
